sea view cottage was simply incredible. the views of the harbour, sea, and hillside were breathtaking. the cottage itself was clean, well-equipped, and had a real character. sitting by the window with a coffee watching the fishing boats and the sun rising over the abbey hill was a highlight of our romantic getaway. a truly unforgettable experience.

The location of the cottage is simply fantastic. With a beautiful view of the harbor and just a short walk to the beach and pier, it couldn't be better. Additionally, being within walking distance of all the local attractions and restaurants makes it incredibly convenient.

The parking situation can be a bit problematic due to the location.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming cottage with stunning views over the harbour. The highlight of Sea View Cottage was definitely the breathtaking sunrise I witnessed from the window. Despite its central location, the cottage was surprisingly quiet when the windows were closed. I was impressed by the thoughtful amenities provided, including a cupboard stocked with sauces and condiments, a dishwasher, and a TV with a built-in DVD player. Another pleasant surprise was the ample head-room, as I am quite tall. The beds were comfortable and the overall atmosphere was warm and cozy. The staff were friendly and accommodating to our needs. This cottage provided a truly enjoyable experience.

Great central location with a fabulous view of the harbour, Whitby Abbey, and St Mary’s Church. Very clean cottage with a well-appointed kitchen. Clear instructions for entry on arrival. The owner and cleaner were responsive when we had a question. Multiple bedding layers and plenty of head-room, even in the loft. Easy parking on the back road with provided scratch cards.

I had the most incredible view from the cottage, with breathtaking sights of the harbour and Abbey from every window. It was like a dream come true. The decor had a charming nautical theme which perfectly complemented the location. The cottage was clean and well-stocked with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I particularly enjoyed sitting by the window, sipping my coffee, and watching the fishing boats go out in the morning while the sun slowly rose over the Abbey hill. The location was perfect, just a short walk to town with its shops, cafes, pubs, and restaurants. The parking was easy to find, and I appreciated the parking permit provided by the owner. The cottage had a cozy and warm atmosphere, making me feel right at home. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back.

Sea View Cottage is a great little cottage with a fantastic view over the harbour. It is clean, tidy, and within walking distance of our favorite restaurant, Fisherman's Wife. It is also conveniently located near all the attractions in Whitby. We had no trouble with car parking, as there is a spot available within 200 yards on a back road with the provided parking coupon. We would definitely book this cottage again!

Parking was a bit of an issue due to the location, and the steep stairs both outside and inside the cottage could be difficult for elderly relatives. There was some noise from the port and the amusements below, although the windows were well insulated.

Although we encountered a few minor hiccups, such as the lack of Wi-Fi and a microwave, it did not affect our overall enjoyment. Additionally, the parking situation required navigating steep stairs, which could be challenging for those with limited mobility.
